Instead of being embarrassed, Stan feels that he's lucky to have a subconscious that understands him. Steve finds out that Stan is convinced that the person who recognized his costume lost his shoe, but points out that Stan has lost one of his own. When he forces everyone at the party to give up their shoes, they call in Steve to talk some sense into him. Stan spies a shoe left behind in the restroom and decides to seek out the person that lost it. As he's about to be taken away by an ambulance, he insists that someone complimented his costume and wants to find out who it was. When he drinks the booze in his baby bottle in the restroom, he starts to pass out and smacks his head on the sink, but before he completely passes out he hears someone making note of his costume. Meanwhile, Stan designs a chicken baby costume for the CIA party, but no one understands the concept and he becomes the laughingstock of the party. Jeff stands up for himself and refuses to finish for him, but Roger spies a stoned Tuttle and attempts to reach him via the plane's inflatable emergency slide. When Roger arrives, Hayley figures out that he put Jeff up to this to move cargo to North Dakota for him by taking advantage of his stoned state of mind. Jeff feels that Hayley wants to dump him, but she has come to realize that it is his way of showing love, and he loves her most of all. When he realizes that he's irritating hundreds of other drivers on the highway, he gives up and pulls off, allowing Hayley to catch up with him. When she tries to call him, he sets the phone to airplane mode to cut her off. When Danuta turns on the television volume, they see Jeff driving the plane down the highway on his way to North Dakota. He stops by the house to show Hayley, who refuses to believe he would pull such a stunt, although Danuta and Nerfer are convinced he probably could do such a thing and lets her know that he is completely obsessed with her. Roger loans him a plane that he keeps at the airport, and a still-stoned Tuttle comes along for the ride. When Roger tries to correct him to flying, he points out that his license is only good for driving. When Jeff comes down from the effects, he decides he wants to drive an airplane across America. Roger conducts a spiritual counseling session with Jeff and Tuttle, which involves ayahuasca, a potent hallucinogen. Roger suggests that he convince her than he can make a decision on his own by doing something that no one in the world but Jeff would do. Roger finds Jeff moping the next morning because he upset her, admitting that while it was indeed her request, it was also because he wanted it as well. Jeff points out it was her request for him to marry her, which shocks and disappoints her. Hayley gets upset and insist that he learns to turn people down. At their anniversary dinner, Jeff accidentally spills wine on his shirt and goes to the restroom to clean it up where he's mistaken for a waiter and ends up working. He points out that he worries that people will get mad at him if he doesn't help them and gets anxious when people are angry. Plot: When Jeff fixes breakfast for everyone in place of Francine, Hayley is critical of him doing things for other people, especially as their anniversary is coming up and wants him to learn to say no to requests.
